A Walk in the Gulf

Here's my walk to work, set to Elbow's "Mirrorball", which I'm loving at the moment. Nice mellow love song, which I'll dedicate to you, Lyn, because you make the moon my mirrorball.

Oh, I found the caption tool on moviemaker too...

Be good

  1. Hiya Russell, just arrived in Limerick from Dublin where I have been working all week. I moved there on Sunday and its been a mad week of juggling 2 jobs and finding my way around Dublin ... Man !!! Did I get lost, there roads and the signage are useless ...!!!

I love your video clip, and the music is fantastic ... where did you find the music?

Tyrone is moving into digs this weekend and we are clearing the house out finally. Most of my stuff is being stored at a friend while I try and settle down in Dublin. Mind you I quite like living there.

Take care and have fun ...

    Ciao

  2. Good to hear from you, Odette.

I'm glad to see you are enjoying Dublin, and I hope things settle down for you. Yes I remember signs in Ireland are very sparse and sometimes they seem to send you the wrong way.

The music on my clip is by Elbow, a Manchester based band who have just won a Mercury award and received some acclaim after 18 years as a few hundred people's best kept secret. The album is called "The Seldom Seen Kid" and you should buy it straight away after reading this comment....

You still here? Gah, you never do what I say.

    See you soon.
