Hello Russell,
ReplyDeleteHow are you holding up. Had a long chat to Lyn on Friday and Emma was bringing her boyfriend home and then taking him to visit the family. Im sure you should have been there to give him some moral support, LOL !!!
I ran 18 miles yesterday and had a total meltdown today ... woe is me !!!
Thats the worst part of trainig, the adrenaline let down ...
So Im still manless, countryless and homeless ...
There is a great song by Ladysmith Black Mambazo called Homeless ... its very haunting ... check it out - thats me.
You go easy.
Hugz ...
Hi O, doing ok thanks, bit slow in Bangkok work-wise, but will get very busy soon.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the 18 miles, jeez that's a long way - you must be thin as a mint by now. I find hard exercise to be very emotional, often I have tears after a hard game of squash, win or lose, it's just the release of hormones/endorphins/adrenaline I suppose.
Homeless, I know that song, bought the album on the strength of it a few years ago, must find it and get back into it, thanks for the reminder. I've had no feedback at all from my lovely folk music offerings - maybe they are not to everyone's taste.
I spoke to Lyn about you and we can both imagine how hard you're working. Hope you are not overdoing it. Look forward to a proper hug when I finally come home, and you get over for a visit. Surely the French thing must go through soon?
